Hey guys just wanted to say that, when I signed into live with my jtag, I got banned within 10 minutes...

I've heard rumors that you could spend up to 4 hours on live with one... Guesstimate??

So yeah just putting it out there.

this isn't new information. jtag units are easily detected by M$..

until the writers of XBR can figure out a way to make it look identical to a retail Dash/Kernel, I wouldn't dare go on XBL with one..

Then again, once development starts taking off on JTAG units, perhaps a non M$ XBL type network will emerge to allow people to play online with other JTAGGERS..

Since JTAGing my system I spend a tons of time on Kai.  Unfortunately there still isn't alot of people on there, and I am forced to arrange to meet on there with friends, but it is still a great free alternative.  

Hopefully more people will start to play some day....

Wow, I didn't even know about X-Link Kai....I've got to go check it out.  We should all be promoting this some how and get the word out to those who don't know.

Because, for the time you are not banned with your JTAG on Live, you can advertise setting up modded lobbys. One of my friends inserted a modded .ff file into his MW2 directory, that got him to give enough XP per kill to prestige. Also, he had 12 people join at $20 per person. 12 x 20 = $240.

Good Profit, for a KV worth $60

agreed... but considering game developers frown upon this and they run the show.. they will drop all the cheaters....   (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) sucks for all the kiddies who paid for level.

True, but those "kiddies", are taking the risk with their uneducated minds... Plus, some developers could care less about their "modders". But for those who have paid to get their levels, in games like Modern Warfare 2, BE WARNED. I've heard rumors that Infinity Ward, is going to be cycling through their leaderboards and resetting their records...       <------- Just a Rumor
