I never tried myself.  But do you have a spare HDD?  maybe copy it to the spare HDD, then copy it to the 500GB.  Or you can fTP as well.  Leave it running over night.

When you use the official back-up kit on a pc it just adds the drive as an external usb hdd. you could either manually copy everything across, or use disk cloning software.

If it's XBRed, get a USB HDD and copy all of the original HDD stuff to USB HDD then move it to the new HDD.

can my usb have multiple partitions on it? as i have a WD 500gb external drive with half on fat32 and the other half on NTFS, only tried twice but it would never indicate it sees the drive. to be honest if i could keep all my nxe games copied onto my external hard drive i would do that i havnt got the first clue and any attempts to find the info have hit a dead end. if anyone can tell me or pm me on how to put the games i own onto hard drive that would be awesome.
