well we need more info then that

whats the manufacturer date cos theres still a chance of homebrew with new boxes

i would say you have to have a lite-on you will need to open the box to see what firm ware you have you will have to use a prob if its 7 or 8 firmware if its 9 then you need to rebuild the board a bit to get the key

but if you give more info then i can help more for your needs you can run backup games on any xbox now so you may as well open it up to have a look what you have

Ah, I had an older version of it, and I was a little confused because I heard about cutting traces and stuff.

I can solder just fine, so the full firmware dump is what I want, right? I'm guessing it means I can go back to stock if I want, right? And I do realize that if I get banned then going back to stock won't help.

EDIT: and also, the JungleFlasher troubleshooting guide says that some chipsets are incompatible. I have an Intel chipset with an ICH8 southbridge in the computer I'd be flashing this from (assuming a USB SATA adapter won't work), and they don't seem to say whether "AMD, ATI, Intel, JMicron Chipsets, NVIDIA Nforce and Via" are "good," they just say they're not "ugly."

no HDMI cable

It just means it doesn't come with an HDMI cable in the box, I am sure the unit still has HDMI output on the back.

I realize that. I'm just saying that it must be new that they're not including the cable.
