Thank you for any and all help provided,

  My gears of war 2 had a disc/game update when I connected my system to live( non banned ). BUT....................... because of that disc/game update I can't play system link with my banned system. Can I extract the update from my live enabled system to my banned system? ( My banned is JTAGED ) I get an error that says the " server request is out of date" I also ran the GOW 2 update on another live enabled system and that one also give me the same error on the JTAG system? If so were can I find the update?

your xbr console is on the latest dash so it dose not need updateing

if you are talking bout the game needing updating then http://xbuc.24.tl/ is a site will all game updates for jtagged consoles

  Yes I am talking about game updates not an update to the system. So I looked at the site and I see the updates, so if I may ask, do I have to add these to the game folders or is it like DLC that goes on the 0000000000000 folder? Or were do I add them on the HDD? I know it's a dumb question but I am still a little new to this =(

Ok so I put the game update in the cashe folder I got the gears of war 2 game updates but I still get the message that says my server is outdated, do the updates go in another folder?

Another option is you can clear the cache on both systems to "undo" the updates but I can't remember how to do it.  A good search should suffice.

   If I do that would that erase important items?  I think I can erase the cache via my pc right?

Ok, so I went under the HDD in the 360 settings and there is a clear cache option and now I can  play system link with my other systems, thank you all so much for the help.
