i am using a laptop with vista 64bit, onboard compatable intel SATA chipset, and an external esata port.  now i havent connected my liteon drive to the laptop yet, but i just tried to run jungle flasher and it freezes every time i run it.  

oh not every time.. if i dont disable the driver signing verification, then jungle flasher tells me it cant install the driver because its not signed, but jungle flasher loads up without a problem,  once i disable driver signing verification,  i dont get that error, but jungle flasher freezes.

Sometimes my laptop freezes before jungle flasher even pops up, other times it loads up and then freezes a couple of seconds later..

Is this happening because i havent plugged in the drive yet?  i dont think thats the case.. anyone ever have this problem?  its seems obvious that its a problem with loading the driver.. do i have to remove the old SATA driver first?  if i do will my laptop be able to access my harddrive?

Help please!!  if i can just figure this out i can flash my drive

I use a two partition system where I have Windows XP 32bit installed for stuff like this, it makes things waaay easier.  Fixing the whole driver signing thing isn't worth the trouble and it makes your system vulnerable.

i am running vista 64 bit right.. now i partitioned a part of my drive for win xp 32 bit.. how do i install win xp once vista is already installed.. everything i read says to install the earlier os first.. and it wont let me click on install when i run setup from vista
