Hi, I am a n (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) b, I have proved it lol. My problem is, that after attempting the jtag hack, I have managed to burn out the through holes on J1F1. I am gutted as i managed to make the lpt cable work first time with some nice neat soldering. But when I tried to run xell i got E79. so after lots of reading about re-soldering, cutting down my diodes and making the wire as short as possible. i desolder, resolder, desolder, resolder etc...... and now i have f**cked it. I was hoping someone could come up with a solution? maybe other solder points?

anyway i know im a dumbass, so you dont have to remind me. but it was a spare rrod console so havent really lost out. at least it works normal again lol.

I dont think so. You could solder straight to the trace but thats even harder. Find someone who can solder before you break it.

any ideas on where i can get the through holes repaired? i have searched the net but keep hitting a brick wall. so close but yet so far. im in the uk by the way

I really have no idea what you mean with 'through holes' and ive no idea how bad you fucked it up. Post some pics..... And restore your nand with the original.bin and see if it still boots (remove every modification you did SPECIALLY JTAG WIRES). Find someone to mod it for you if it still works. I only know 1 guy from the UK and thats Martinchris23 (scotland).
