Can Xexmenu Be Loaded To Hard Drive Without A Working Dvd Drive?
« on: February 08, 2010, 10:40:00 PM »

I think my jtagged 360 is all ready to go except I have no dvd drive and therefore cant follow the instructions for installing it.  I'm using a 3.5" 500gb hard drive (using Frosty's simple tut) and I let XBR format the drive.  I already tried FatXplorer and Xplorer360 but neither of them can see partition 3 (not even sure I have a partition 3).

Any ideas?

I have another 360 with a working dvd drive that I can flash with the jtag'd 360's dvd key but I was hoping for an easier way.

When I was going through the jtag process I could boot to Xellous just by pushing the power button but I no longer have that option after putting XBR on the 360.  Pushing eject takes me to Xell.

To update back to Xellous, use the following command (where xell-2f.bin is the one that comes with Xellous):

nandpro lpt: +W16 xell-2f.bin 30

in his flash guide thread, Looouky says this will overwrite some of XBR so I guess I'm stuck with Xell for now.
