Re-encrypt Keyvault
« on: February 07, 2010, 01:11:00 PM »

I have extracted my keyvault from my 512mb jasper using 360 flash tool 0.6

I changed the region code using a hex editor and now I'm trying to re-encrypt it and flash it back. How do I re-encrypt the keyvault after I have extracted it? I have tried with bincrypt and it seems to encrypt it but the file sizes are different compared to the original keyvault?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

First I used 360 Flash Tool .60

This tool does not check file size and you can extract and decrypt keyvault with this version if you don't enter the 1BL key for jasper 512mb nands. You do need your CPU key but don't enter the 1BL key for it to work.

Then I used the tool above (KVModder) to successfully edit the region code. However now I cannot find out how to re-encrypt it to flash back to my nand.

Thanks!
