In Desperate Need Of Help
« on: January 28, 2010, 04:10:00 AM »

Ok, i am at the end of my rope with this, i have been at it for 2 days now.

First i dumped my nand twice. Both had no errors, and match perfectly.
I flash XELL onto the nand to get the CPU key. Whcih i now have. I tried to get the KV into XBR_XENON_8955_3.Bin, but i just get the R/G christmas lights, so I used the CPU key to get my KV from my nand using 360 Flash Tool. I flashed that, Same thing.

So then i flashed another copy of XBR to the nand, and injected my KV. Now i'm only getting 1 green light in te center, no other lights.

I have tried numerous times now, without KV, with KV, without the CONFIG, with CONFIG, I've tried tons of different ways, and everytime, i either get the christmas lights, or the single flashing centered green led.

HELP ME !!!!!!!

Try dumping your flashed XBR and comparing it to your XBR pre-flash. You may be encountering writing difficulties. If you flashed Xell though to start off with and it worked this might not be the answer.

Are you sure you haven't disloged your JTAG wires after flashing Xell?

I just resoldered all the JTAG wires, and non of them are messed up.
I think i'm gonna dump the firmware in a min. For some reason, i had the ring of light spining green, as if it was booting.... Gonna power cycle it again just to see if it works.

Edit : Couldnt get the RoL again, so i am just flashing a new XBR onto the nand, then i'll flas my KV onto the nand. I'll post back with results in a few mins.

FRUXING YES !!!! NEITHER PROGRAM HAD EXTRACTED MY KV PROPERLY !!! I FLASHED A NEW XBR INTO THE NAND, AND USED NANDPRO 20B TO EXTRACT KV + CONFIG FILE, AND WHAM IT BOOTED !!

Just before that I had also removed the JTAG cables from the xbox and only used the resistors, the legs were way long enough.
After that, then reflashing it, it booted !!

Thanks Twach !1 It must have been my JTAG wires !!
