Hello guys (and everyone at xbox-scene --- my compliment to you) .

I thing I gat enough info to do this. (never to sure) . I need a couple info to go for it.

During last Holly day  season I got myself I an elite with mnf. date 2008-06-09 (fortunate to find this)
it got blade dash 6683 and BK 1888 it seems to be a falcon and has liteon maybe v. 74850c.
I think it is possible to  jtag.

my Q.  and I think any new timers want this cleared up. So guys any help from ur side appreciated.


1)  which one should I do first... the jtag or flash the liteon,  if not in conflict  better to do both.

2)  sine with jtag box cannot go on live (and I won't)  wich ixtreme firmware to use on liteon DVD, 1.6, 1.61 or 1.7 LE (just released).  

3) on the net I  hear talking about ixstreme stealth and nostelth but on xbins I cannot find it which one is it?

4)  once I jtag, I want to update  the dash to last possible dash before jtag killer and than remove the resistor, If i do remove this resistor when I turn on the 360 will the dash come up or nothing will before install xexmenu or alternate dash.  that is after jtag will I ever see again the stock dash (blade or last possible one before jtag kill)?

5) will I be able to play newest wave 4,5,6 games with jtag  or jtag goes ok without wave?

Doesn't make a difference.

Use the newest one, lite touch.

You're not going on live so stealth makes no difference.

xbr contains the latest cracked dashboard. Once you remove the resistor the regular dash will still come up. xexmenu isn't an alternate dash, you install it and then run it like you would an XBLA game.

You can play anything, make sure you remove the system update folder from rips. I know Army of Two the 40th day won't booting unless the system update folder was removed.

On my 2) i still have to clear this up.  about which ixtreme to use... i thought the newest v1.7 LE is for going on live (it is stealth)  and because of this it will always check the wave stuff, wouldn't it be better to use v1.6_nostealth since it won't care about this wave (it loads up all game), flash the liteon-DVD once and that is it.


Q 2.1)  or maybe I am getting this wrong.... that is:  the wave stuff is only for stealth mode  but game loads ok with any wave, even hypothetic wave 10 (xx). The ixtreme firm.,  is stealth only on supported wave  and loses stealth ability on unsupported xx wave but the game still boots OK (can play off-Live)?

Lite touch was designed to not be detected on live and yes you could use version 1.5 if you want, or any version that doesn't check waves for that matter, it makes no difference because you aren't going on live so you don't have to worry about getting banned. But in my opinion it's always best to have the latest version even if you're not going on live.

If you look at the readme it says:

Stealth means that a backup has the correct SS, DMI, PFI, etc. so it looks just like a retail copy when you're on xbox live. Read this to find out more about what stealth means. and read this site to find out what the different waves mean. Lite touch doesn't care about the wave so yes it would hypothetically boot wave 10 games. These are all very basic questions which can be easily cleared up with a google search.
