Hey all please if anyone can help...I was following the tut I found here: http://archive.gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=199707 I read alot of tuts and threads but I liked this one and it was on the web so I used it nwayz It made no mention of a seperate xell flash prior to xbrboot and I remember hearing that xell was now embedded in xbrboot 3 for xenon.  So I just dumped my nand made sure it matched after a second then extracted raw kv and config injected that into xbr.bin and flashed it.  I dont have a working dvd drive hard drive or memory unit...lmao it's just a junk 360 honestly i decided to do this with figured if this worked i would replace rom drive and invest in the laptop hd of my choosing....but here is my problem...happily on the upside the flash appears to have taken cause it boots to the nxe dash before it had the older blades so i figure I did something right...but when I use a 360 remote and press the windows button it turns on but i get no video. I dont have a wired remote...I tried vga and sd so far....did I miss a step?  do I also have to flash xell first.  Since the hacked dash appears to have installed could I break that by trying to flash/reflash xell now? Do i truly need like a full xell install plus xbrboot(i understand cpu key and iflash being plusses)? Is that why this guy omitted it in his tut?

did u try powering on the 360 via pressing the eject button instead of the controller or regular power button.

WHen i do that I getr a blue screen with all sorts of stuff written on it but I cant really do anything, Dont know much about xell, maybe i need to plug in a keyboard and mouse ? who knows,

but I did it the same way u did with the same xbreboot v3

this seems to be getting more common

make sure you have newest xbr.bin from xbins
try this , flash just the origanal stock xbr3.bin ( redownload it if u dont have a copy)
do not inject jey or config at all in stock xbr

after its flashed then inject key only using this comand

nandpro lpt: -w16 (keyname here).bin 1 1
notice the spaces after .bin should write  only one block your keyvault
dont inject config

I am assuming you mean eject button on console?  darn no luck there i just go to normal dash...maybe the xell part in my xbr.bin was corrupt?

Hmmm I read what you said tray J but scared to do that...I am going to try using it as is...so basically your thinking my copy from xbins was bad?

never frigging mind ahmer you are bloody genius...I hooked up my broken drive used the eject button on console and poof...why have I not read this anywhere csn someone please explain well hopefully if this happens to someone they find my thread laters....

I have learn the hard way that u need a 360 DVD Drive hooked up to boot into xell with the eject button. It does'nt have to be flashed or anything as long there a dvd drive.
