i put the arcade game that has been unlocked (full) will still show up as trial. I launch via xexloader from a usb stick.

is there a better way to launch them. (dont have hdd) have a memcard but its too small.
have tried yaris swap and an unlocker here on the forum

how are you launching them from a usb drive??  i didnt think xexloader would launch live containers.  as far as im aware, all xbla games must be launched from the hdd to work properly.

i unpack the container after its been unlocked. then launch the default.xex

i havent heard of any success with them that way,  the way ive seen ppl do it is putting the 360 container files on the hdd, and running it that way.  try using x360GameHack, and see if that will patch the default.xex file and make it work.  thats the program that i used for disk games with xbr 1.  you could always get a small laptop hard drive, either 20 gigs, or something, and do the internal hdd mod.  it can be a pain to do that tho.

ive ordered a 250 gb western digital and plan on doing that. but this is just a pain in the neck.

yea, they might come out with a way to play arcade games in the future off the usb through xexloader, or someother homebrew app.  its too early tho to say for sure.  thats what sux about the way this scene is developing now.  ms disableing the jtag hack when all you see is linux and super mario snes playing with it.

its a hit or miss by doing it that way.  I tried 5 games and only 2 booted from usb and 3 remained trial. Your best bet is to place them in the content folder.

If you unpack the game from the container you lose the unlock. If you really need to run the containers from your external USB drive and want to keep the unlock you can do so  by using 360Dashit:-

There is also an indexer that will create the ini file for you after it scans your content folder:-

You can buy the360 HDD shell for just a few dollars and chuck any old laptop drive in there, no wiring to worry about then.
