Question About Jtag Cable
« on: January 05, 2010, 01:35:00 AM »

If you started out with a cable that had both a male and female end, then when you plug those ends together, the same color wires will still be connected to each other.

if its male on both sides then connect them together with a coupler and you will be fine. no need to switch wires. just match the colors.

Well that depend on whether he is using a patch or crossover cable. If in doubt use a multimeter to check continuity.
