Nxe Ripped Games (xbreboot No Dvd)

hi guys, I recently found an exploitable Xbox360 that I'm currently flashing XBR. I feel good on this part and most of the stuff I've been reading.

Only question for now that I can't find the answer anywhere is:


Can I play NXE Ripped 360 games off HDD with out the DVD in drive when using XBR?

If not, that's Ok, I'll stick to XexLoader and/or other loaders.

Kind off, Yes. Just rip the games using xexloader and create a short cut using xex quickboot, then you can boot the game from the games library.

If you install the games through NXE, then no. Although you can use a PC tool called FreeXEX Quickboot which will allow you to create 'shortcuts' to your game files which will appear in the NXE as game demos.

I don't think you can as it copies the files across in some weird format like a disc image.

I had wondered if you could extract the files from a game ISO,  then patch the xex to remove media check, then burn it back to a disc and install that to the HDD via NXE whether they would then run without the disc, but I haven't tried it yet.

Doesn't xbr v3 auto patch xex?  I wonder if this includes games downloaded to HDD via NXE.  Can anyone confirm?

Yes, now there is NXE2GOD.
Just run the NXE2GOD and it will patch all your NXE installed games to game on demand.
