To run  homebrew you need the jtag hack. Once that's done you can run anything (including xex loader). You should be able to run it off the dvd drive without having to flash it.

maybe read about how the jtag hack works? you cant execute the exploit without physically soldering something so no, you have to open the console

littlestevie360 i'm sorry about these questions, but i dont understand much how technology works, and yes i readed thats why i asked if there isnt a way without opening the xbox 360 on homebrewing or running backup games =) i know problalby very anoying many noobs asking same questions over and over again, but we must start from somewhere right? =P hehe Thanks for helping and sorry again, i'm not good at technology stuff, it confunds me alot hehe

i'll investigate this better to see how it works. Watching a tutorial video this is interesting... i'm just afraid of doing this Lol :X

sorry if i seem abrupt, its 5:50am so im a little tired i would suggest making sure you know how to solder before even attempting to do this, already had a console come to me with a blown mosfet because they bridged 5V to ground trying to do this hack, once you have at minimum moderate understanding of how to control solder with an iron, then just make sure you re-read everything 100 times (well not exactly 100 times but you get the point) before even attempting to do any of the programming etc, and as always there is that risk that something could go wrong, if you arent sure on a step, re-read until you are, spending an hour reading a document over and over is better than destroying a console because you were too hasty

hheeheheh i would like to avoid destroying it it seems easier to ask someone to put a modchip wich can actualy run by HDD drive. i'll try see how to do this. Thanks again , you've been helpfull. This JTAG work takes around 1 hour to do i guess :s i watched this video:
