Flash Config Problem

so im getting a flash config of 00012000 which is not correct obviously and i think the problem is with me not putting a diode on pin 11

so I only have one kind of diode. is the 1N4733A diode ok?

or should i take a trip to a non-radioshack establishment where they probably have the right diode

Go to radio shack and get the correct diodes for about a dollar biggrin.gif

I've been to 4 radio shacks in my area and they all had the correct diodes. If your local one doesnt have it try another location. They definatly carry it.

although the first read had an unexpected error in it and had to close.....but the second one seems to be working fine

Did you get the proper flash config number after installing the diode? If the number isnt what it's supposed to be, you still have a problem.
