Is there another spot to the DB1f1? I lifted the trace and i tried to fix it but it I think thats the problem as to why my xbox 360 rrod after the xbr flash..  the orig nand is fine when flashed back, its when the modified one is used. I get rrod. Thanks.

FT1u is the alternate spot.. I fucked it up...  soldered it to the trace right next on the right.. still getting Error 79.. LOL!

Hmm, your wire looks like it's touching more than one point. How do you keep "fucking up" these solder points?

lol.....   this is not my picture but its similar, But my wire is only touching the actual trace and not anything else. I just don't have a camera to take a picture.  The original nand works fine, the XBR gives me error 79. Prolly cause of this point or the other points..  


Edit: Finally after 2 days of trying to make this work, i have it booting into xbr!   I guess when i re-soldered the point to the trace it made it work.. Now i need a hot glue gun.. Im not gonna move my xbox until i get one. and thanks to xxpittbullxx he helped me with the process he also is the one that injected my kv files into the XBR which was the one that booted.

ehh too soon... xbr boots fine, xell gives me 3rrod... Any idears?

did you place the usb controller or charge and play kit on the back usb port and start the xbox like that?
try this unplug the power brick from the back wait 15 sec. then power up from usb controller or charge and play kit

also try the other file i sent you, you know what im talking about LOL

lol, yea, well first im gonna hot glue gun it cause im scared to put it in the case without breaking the bottom solder point again.....  Anyways, I will do all that in like an hour after i put glue on the son of a bitch.  If non of that works i will use the other file you sent me.


edit:  power cycled it like you said..   left it off for 2 minutes, put the usb controller to the back of the xbox 360. Turned it on with controller Boots into xell now.. LOL... Thanks..

Chaosplt what did you use to lift up the trace line I've not done it before so don't want to break it as this is my last resort to get xell loaded! Also did you use a diode on this?

yea i used a diode... Well i scraped it off with one of those soldering scrapers, i took the green stuff off the trace until the trace was showing(the yellow stuff).  Then i put the diode next to the trace and tapped it with the soldering iron. Just a small tap, if you keep it there for longer it will lift off and you are screwed.. Put black tape on it, then i put hot glue on top of it so it wouldn't move.

hot glue gun was $4 at sears
