Bad Nand Dumps, Alot...

#1 You don't need the JTAG wires to read or write the nand.
#3 tug on the wire. If it comes off the mobo it's bad. If not, it should be good.
#2 refer to #3.

You might need the diode. attached to point 4 slash 11 (light blue) There's a guide on X-S. A friend was getting bad dumps. After rebooting his pc and only running command prompt he got good nand dumps.

I did, multiple times.

I noticed at the end of each dump there are alot of 00's and FF's. I know this normally means empty/bad data. So which one is it for this? Are there suppose to be FF's and 00's at the end of Xenon dumps?

This is really starting to get frustrating x.x I don't know what to try next at all. If anyone has any ideas....that would be great.

Possibly usb reader? I've heard about them, but ive never seen anything about them. Do you make it or just buy it or what?

Any possible leads on where to go next would help GREATLY

to read the nand you dont need the JTAG wires, im going through something similiar.

just unsoler the JTAG wires and only leave the SPI ones. be sure to have 1 ground wire J1D2.6 or J2B1.12.

My question is:
can I have both JTAG and SPI cables welded on the same LPT adapter?

everytime i try to read or write the nand with both soldered on the same LPT, my power brick goes RED, and NandPro will not find any ports.

just need to know if JTAG wires are required to get the CPU/KV.

thanks

None of the jtag wires go to the lpt port. Only the 7 none jtag wires do. The jtag wires just unlock being able to write i think?

And what do you mean have one ground wire J1D2.6 or J2B1.12?

oops, you're right , none of the JTAG wires go to the LPT Adapter.

but can the JTAG wires be on the 360 board when trying to run XELL and get CPU Key?

about the ground wire,  just tried to remind you either of the mentioned points, or even a bare copper screw hole can be used

i still cant run XELL on this damn JASPER 256, with or without the JTAG wires

all i want is the stupid keys, nandpro this, nandpro that, hell im ready to give up soon

That's the whole point of having the JTAG wires in place. Without them you cannot run Xell or homebrew.
