List Of Games The Run With Xexloader
« on: December 09, 2009, 03:20:00 AM »

I think we should start a list of games and how were able to get them to run via Xexloader. I have been trying multiple different patches for the past few hours and have been unable to get Halo 3, Halo 3 Mythic and Left 4 Dead 2 to run. Having a resource with this info would save all of us a great deal of time.

Tekken 6 appears to be fine. Played for about 20 minutes without any freezing or lag. Samurai Spirits Sen is fine in-game, lags a bit during the loading-screens. Street Fighter IV and Bayonetta become unplayable after a while.

i have tried over 120 full games including Halo 3, Halo 3 Mythic & Left 4 Dead 2 all patched with x360gamehack and running on xbreboot via the consoles hdd sata with a 2tb hdd and they all worked perfectly the only games that have given me any trouble are xbla games there is about 8 of my 112 xbla games that freeze or have slow frame rates.
i think you guys must be doing something wrong

"Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2" runs fine.

Can you please tell me what program you used to patch this and what options you use?

I've ripped it to my internal 120GB official hdd using XexLoader. I then copied the default.xex and default_mp.xex to my PC.

I tried patching them with X360GameHack, the only tick box I checked was "All Media". Then copied them back to the internal HDD. But when I try and launch either of them with XexLoader I just get a black screen.

I can still push the center controller button to bring up the in-game dash screen but it's quite stuttery. I then see in my dashboard under recent games that it lists MW2 but I never actually made it in to the game... just the black screen.

Any help would be appreciated cheers!

The problem is not with Xex Loader, It's to do with XBR. People who are running Freeboot are having no problems with lagging.

Also some games that dont load you need to clear your cache out because in your cache folder you will have a new version of the XEX. So you can either find it patch it and place it in the game directory or remove it by clearing the cache.

This is how I got LFD2 to work.

Hope that clears up some stuff.

surely if we delete title updates then that risks dlc not working for games like rock band 2 etc as you need these updates for most dlc to show

you can extract the files from the title update, place them in the right place and patch them.
