Nand Errors, Rrod Errors, Now No Power. Help.
« on: December 08, 2009, 01:42:00 PM »

Ok everyone, have some serious trouble here. I have a banned falcon mobo that seen better days. I dumped 4 copies of my nand, all seemed to match fine. I then flashed the nand after hex editng it(to regain hdd) and all went well, no errors. However, when i turned it on, it took forever than all of a sudden rrod(error 0022). So I decided than to flash back my original nand copy and it came up with a bunch of errors..so I than decided to try and turn it on and now it wont power on at all, nor am I able to detect it in nandpro. So..is it a bad flash to the nand causing it to not turn on? Any suggestions/help would be great smile.gif

2 weeks ago the same happend to me. I only dumped the nand and when i tested the system i got a rrod 0022. 6 months ago i tried the jtag hack and ended with a dead motherboard. I think the couse of all this was way to high temperature of my solder iron and i was using a bad solder method (sticking the iron tip through the board). Anyway i have no idea how to fix it but im pretty sure 0022 is a hardware failure and not bad data on the nand. Couse i only dumped the nand.

well i had to short it b.c it was the only option b.c mine wouldnt even turn on. I just held a wire across the connections and was able to make it work. Also check your connections, mine has to be so perfect to detect it.
