Used Banned System Questions

You can't install games to the hard drive.

You can save your games! You just can't really use the hard drive on a unbanned system down the road and use the gamerscore. (who cares)

Both of those features can be fully restored but its very complicated and you sound like you don't care.

So way to go Microsoft! All these banned systems will now go to people that wont be paying you for live.

and i have a feeling you might not just be using the hacked drive firmware to play backups of games you legally own so now there are a million systems that you will get ZERO revenue from.

Ok seems simple enough.  But what is this wave 4 games that I read about.  Will I be able to play those brand new from the store or since this system just got the banhammer will that stop it from playing newer games?

Yes, you can play all original games without a problem.

If you have benq samsung or hitachi type DVDROM in your 360 then you can get a non stealth firmware flashed to it and then you will also be able to play all backups of all waves and all futures waves too.

Find out what type of the you have by going here 360 Trays

It is a Hitachi

Then you probably have iXtreme 1.51 and that means you can play Wave 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 and probably all future wave original and backup games. No update needed.

That's cool.  Thank you for being very helpful, not to many people would have been.
