Nope, spoofing doesn't work that way!

You can only run lite-on firmware on lite-on hardware.

If you want to buy a benq and run non stealth that would work and then you would have to spoof it as a lite-on.

if you buy a benq it is really easy to do. in jungleflasher select the dummy.bin as the original firmware and select the benq 1.41 non-stealth as the target and hit spoof and it will do the rest for you. This is what i did with my brand new xbox and and it has been on live for a while now.

Could i also take a working BenQ drive out of a working xbox 360 spoof that and put it in my liteon console (Using the liteon Dummy bin etc)? Sorry for all the questions i just like to know its all safe before i start taking my consoles apart lol.

Xbox 1 BenQ 1.61fw pulled the lead 3 days before MW2 release proberly flagged. (cant register for repair it says it has been registerd with somebody else :S (my girl sent it of for RROD 13months ago)

Xbox 2 Liteon 1.6fw never been on live with it, never used (Flashed and put back into box, repair request goes through)

Xbox 3 Liteon 1.5fw - 1.6fw never been on live but played lots of games. (repair request goes through online)

Now i was thinking of removing the benq from console 1 and spoof it to console 2 as its never been online and played no games so should be the safest bet. Or try and ring M$ and see if the benq is flagged but its allready been registerd by someone else but am 90% sure its flagged as i played for 11 months with backups on XBL, but if thats not been flagged i could just flash to 1,41 non stealth without spoofing. But i dont want it to get banned as i value the HD install function highly.

yes you can do that, that is what i did rather than buy a new benq. however now i only have one console i can use because i didnt want to mess with the original liteon in benq system. However, make sure you keep your keys nicely labeled. When you plug your benq into jungle just hit read and save the file, then you can flash it back to its exact state when the new FW comes out.

Thanks for the reply man, I have all my keys allready saved form when i first did them. As long as the keys are safe i can use the BenQ drive in both systems, BenQ 1.61 (benq system) And spoof the BenQ in the liteon system. So if the liteon was to RROD or break i could take out the spoofed BenQ and put it back in my BenQ system if i put 1.61 back on.

I would still have my orignal liteon drive that is pre-flashed to 1.6 so could put everything back to how it was if i wanted to sell either console in the future.

ATM i just want to get back on live with 1.41 non stealth and give it a go. I would still have another console if it was to get banned. The risk am willing to take.

i will try it tomorrow sometime. Too smoked out now to get my head onit now.
