I'm still going strong although only been going a few days. Apparently lite touch is coming out very soon but I won't be flashing to that for a while yet so still gonna run 1.41 rev 2

I think I may have found something for those with hitachis. On xbins there is Firmware Toolbox 3.1b repack. Which has Xtreme 1.7 non-stealth with disc jitter fix for hitachis. I know I wont be able to ask anyone using it. But Does anyone have any ideas/comments about this. Dirt on the old Xtreme 1.7 before I get too ballzy.

oh I dont know what to do now twitter has said LT Delayed Untill Further Notice.
Im really thinking about 1.4 benq. So let me get this straight 1.4 does no securty checks you just have to make sure you rip them your self right like SS V2 angles splitvid and all that.

 what do people suggest

Benq 1.41 rev 2 is what I would recommend.
Fully update your console on xbox live.
Then you can flash your console.
Backups need to be checked with abgx but do not need splitvid if you are using an ixtreme firmware
Of course it will not hurt if you do include it.
That's about it. Good luck

why do you recommend rev2? Rev5 has support for SSv2 so wouldnt that be better?

Good to know. I've got Verbatims, but they should work if Memorex do.

The only safe way except playing originals with original firmware is to stay off LIVE until the LT firmware is released. I think you can use whatever firmware you like, if you don't ever connect to LIVE.

I use one Falcon with 1.41 Rev 2 unstealth for backups and one untouched Jasper for LIVE with original games.

LOL... why does everyone think LT is gonna be so safe? no previous FW has...and its postponed indefinite now... most liekly cause testers were banned

there's not even a new banwave yet.. so no-one got banned, so anyone is "safe" for now

i am playing with ix1.6 on xboxlive , since a month.. does that make it safe again?

people in this thread are either incredibly gullible , or incredibly stupid to think any hacked firmware is safe on xboxlive... especially not that hex-edited POS firmware from SS
