And BenQ Drives are the only ones that have Non-Stealth firmware?
No... All drives (except LiteOn) have available (older) non-stealth firmwares.
Anything pre-iXtreme is non-stealth. i.e. Xtreme 5.3 for the Sammy. People are using a non-stealth iXtreme 1.41 firmware for the BenQ as that was the most recent one available that is available as non-stealth.
If you have a LiteOn, it seems evident the best option at the moment is to get hold of a BenQ drive and spoof it as your LiteOn with 1.41 rev2 non-stealth. This makes a big assumption that the stealth checking was key to getting banned.... but take that and do what you will. If it gets us another 12 months of gaming only to be banned again next year - well to some that is probably a worthwhile risk.
Personally I still don't trust the non-stealth Hitachi firmware... nor Xtreme 5.3 -- but if you are super careful with checking the discs with agbx and re-burning any dodgy ones (with corrected ISOs), one might just survive the next ban wave. And I'd place higher trust in good stealthed self-ripped ISOs than anything else.
This has been all said before upteen times in the last 12 pages, but anyway it might help people with a re-cap.
