havent seen or read any info on this...but does anybody know if MS can detect a hacked HDD and cause a console to be banned because of it?

my console was banned as many were. I got a new console, but still have the HDD. The OEM HDD was swapped out with the Western Digital HDD and hacked to work on XBOX.

now if i use this HDD on the new non banned console, could i run into banning issues?

I am pretty sure that one of the xbox updates included support for detection of third party hard drives

i was asked to do a security update on my console. i chose no and it didnt do anything to it. could still get online and everything. i find this strange.

Jesus how many times!!!

The new update DOES NOT affect modded hard drives ONLY 3rd party memory cards like DATELS MEMORY MAX there are many people in the preview program with modded drives and they are running fine!
