It can even be detected even if you play backups offline so no one can tell how MS can detect modified consoles..

Well according to the creater of iXtreme the FW is undetectable, so this would leave only one other option...... the HD data. This is my opinion of course, I have not been on live since the ban wave started so I do not know if I have been banned, and do not plan to log in tell I can see if there is a work around, even though I know I am preventing the unpreventable, I am however running IX 1.61 on a Benq Drive, I updated the FW as soon as it was released and have not been on live since the FW update. Has anyone else tried this method that got banned?

My machine was not hooked up at all the whole week while I was updating to 1.61 firmware for my Samsung. The minute I hooked it back up I was banned. I did not even have a game in there at the time either.

Well than.... If I am correct that means that what ever they are doing to ban consoles is coming from the storage device. NOT from the FW and NOT by the DISC..... So, now what do we do? This kinda sucks, MS is only hurting themself by banning, not everyone can afford a new console, and they are PAYING for live, I know I only play my orginals on live and the BU's when I'm off, to save my disc, I think I will have to start switching over to PS3 now, atleast their online is FREE...... Still love my 360 though.
