I have an xbox that was modded some months ago but hasn't been banned. Now the reason for that is because it red ringed....

Now is it possible to get the needed information to put on my banned modded console and not get banned?

1) Did you update to Summer 09 (84xx)?
2) Is it newer than a Xenon?
3) Do you have an unbanned xbox that meets the requirements of 1 & 2?
4) Do you have soldering skills, an understanding of how the filesystem works, and how to boot XeLL?
5) Do you know what a CPU key is?

If you answered yes to 1, and you don't already have your CPU key (which you probably don't), you are fucked.
If you answered yes to 2, you are fucked.
If you answered no to 3, you are fucked.
If you answered no to 4 or 5, you are definitely fucked.

my banned box was part of this ban wagon and after reading further through this thread i believe i'm fucked either way.

O well i did go online with the unbanned one for like 2 hours before finding out that it was FW that they were finding and banning. Hopefully i didn't get banned so when the new LT comes out i'll be fine. I'm to scared to check to see if i'm banned lol

There is no way to recover from this BAN i've tried.
I was ban 11/13/2009 for being a impatient dumbass and wanted to download modern warfare 2
so i could brag but it was a trap made by Activision that why they push for microsoft to do something
my advise to however underground gamer that this has a modified Xbox  DO NOT DOWNLOAD GAME BEFORE IT COMES OUT even if you just play offline cause that what I did. I waited 2 days after it came out to go on online but i still got banned.

Also I dont know if yu know but microsoft instead banning your account they lock your hdd so that all your games saves are lost so 4 years of gaming data is gone.

I tried to Xplorer to extract and see if I could recover them but Xplorer says the hdd is empty but last week everything was fine.

Also the word from NElson ,the xbl producer, for every big release there are going to place a bait game torrent on the internet for underground gamers to fall for.

This million gamer ban streak was not by accident it was to lure like hungry never see the line on it.
MIcrosoft can monitor our progress as underground gamers through the internet but we have no way to
phatem whats coming for those who plan to remod their xboxs cause microsoft really has done little
to prevent us when they could come done on us with criminal charges.

It's extremely simple to remove the flag that makes it corrupted on other consoles. Data can be moved from your banned 360 to other 360s very easily.

I'd have to agree that it is not illegal to mod xboxs b/c we did buy them. But Microsoft has the right to ban the use of live b/c that is there system.

Charges would only be done for those who sell the pirated games I would think but even that is to hard to say.

I have Zephyr which I already got cpu-key before I updated to 8955. And I have 1 Xenon with RROD and old dashboard. So, I read the tutorial somewhere when degraded to 1888, it have to use dgtool with infectus & add on. Do I need to do this step (Attack Hash) for downgraded 8955 to 1888?

Time attack does nothing with updated CB (84xx).

As far as running/updating 1888 on a Zephyr, I'm not sure. Try it and let us know.

The easier solution in most cases is to simply fix the RRoD xbox.

Hi,

       I am new here. I was reading about this MS banning campain. I just want to say that it is obvious that it is pure marketing movement. MS want to increase sales before christmas. They think after getting banned we will come back to game shop to get new console. Why would we do it. Personally I was using Xbox 360 becouse it is possible to flash it. Now I will get PS3. Almost same price, WiFi built in, no need to buy aditional accesories such us bettery, charger or anything. Which is more important no need to pay for playing online. Better graphics, you can install any hd and they will not ban you for that.
Microsoft want to play with us, lets play ...
Guys if you got banned don't buy new Xbox 360, get PS3. Maby it will make them think !

It means the code that the timing attack relied on is no longer present to do the timing attack.

Have a little question here

I have 3 consoles
2 are RROD and unbanned and were not updated for very long time.
The last is banned and have 8955 update.

The question is can I make a working nand  dump from RROD boxes to banned one, using cpu key from unbanned console?

I just can't understand - what is cpu key doing? Why this key is so important and why people just can't make nand dump using other key and just flash it on banned console.

Can someone explain me please?
