Flashing To Play Burnt Games

I was reading online about you can flash your drive to play burnt xbox 360 games, and everything, but I have been looking around and I keep running into sites I have to pay. This is my 3rd time buying a xbox and the same games over and over. I want to do this. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Thanks.

I have a xbox 360 elite.

I'm a tech. I was reading that 74850 requires extra hardware to flash my drive. Since I have the 83850 I can just hook the drive to my machine and be fine. I basically found all the info I needed. Once I got the xbox apart and read the drive info it was easy. Will post results later on....
