I thought I read off a good nand.bin from my console and flashed the newxell.bin onto it and got the cpu key, but the when i run the program it tells me couldn't read file. I am guessing the nand.bin I read off isn't good. I was wondering is there a way to fix this? Is it possible to use another xbox's nand.bin and flash that one to the xbox? Or would it not work? I have successful rebuilt a 1888 image from another nand ( Donor) because my nand was corrupt but i had my cpu and kv.bin. heres how i rebuilt my image.

Tools Needed:

Hexeditor ( HxD)
Donor Nand (1888) ( http://www.megaupload.com/?d=999VO45I) (If this file isnt allowed please remove)
Corrupt Nand
CPU key from the corrupt image ( You can get this by flash the Xenon_Hack.bin to ur motherboard - Xenon Only)

1. Open Corrupt image in FlashTool 0.88a
2. Write Down the Max LDV Values And Pairing Data
3. Open the Donor image in FlashTool
4. Patch the LDV and Paring Data with your Values
5. Hexedit your corrupt image and copy sectors between 0x4200 - 0x83FF (KV FILE)
6. Open the donor image in hexedit and paste the data that you copied from ur corrupt nand to 0x4200 - 0x83FF
8. Save the file and open with flashtool to check everything is fine if so flash to ur 360!!! ( Make sure your CPU key is entered into the flashtool to check your flash is ok)
9. If all is ok your finished Smiley


Determine your maximum LDV value. You will notice three LDV values. For example they could be: 0, 1, 2. Therefore your maximum LDV value is 2. If your values are 0, 7, 3. Your maximum LDV value is 7.

What if i am unable to open the file in flashtool? what should i do?

the 1lb is the same on every xbox, For legal reasons I cant post it, But google for it.

Thank you, so far no luck though. the image says couldn't read file. I can open it up in hexedit thats about it. Cant open it with flash tool or degraded to check. Is it possible to repair the bin someway else? Thank you.

You should have checked the dump with degraded before flashing the xell. Now there's no way to retrieve a valid original dump, so your basicly screwed. I believe you need the flash tool for decrypting parts of the nand dump so if the solution posted by majinsoftware doesnt work then i dont think theres a way to recover.

Well you can try using BinCrypt2 and extract only the keyvault and config.bin then inject that into another persons nand dump.

Other wise you will need to build a new nand image which will stuck because you wont be able to go on live and all the unique settings will be different.

Please mak sure you had enter the correct CPU key for that dump. you got 1LB key?
You have to enter correct CPU key in setting and close the program, then run again.This time should read your bin file.
If not your 1LB key or CPU key is not correct. Dumped NAND.bin can be decrypt with correct CPU key from that paticular console. If key is wrong you can get unreadabl file or come up with BadKey /KV in all block.
That is only with my experience, may be someone can guide you batter than me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

I copied and made sure the CPU key is correct a couple of times, but still getting badkey /kv with my donor nand. I have also checked the 1lb key and it is correct.  Tried to extract the kv with  Bincrypt but got operation failed. How would I build a new nand? I dont mind not playing online with the console as long as I can get the dvdkey or make a new one and play games with it.

r3d3nvy can you re-write NewXell.bin and try to get CPU key again please.
Something is not right. You got 1LB, you can read your dump in HEX Editor, but not in Degraded and 360 flash tool 0.88. That mean your CPU key or settitng for keys is not right.

I just made a read form my nand,

Opened it in Degraded 1.1 and it had a bad block 0x90 found at 0x3FF,

some people said this was normal so i went ahead and flashed Xenon_hack.bin,

and i got a Programing error on Block 0x90, didn't worry too much,

now my console powers on but it get a blank screen, and nothing else,  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)

im not using any diode atm or 100ohm ristors, because it worked fine with out,

make sure your using component cable and set to HDTV.

i need ur help
i make all right and dump good nand
after all experiments i find my dvd key and start playng on my xbox 360
i play in batman with new update (it stil 7XXX dont remember exactly)
after that i dicide to change region
i make changed nand and flash it on xbox 360

but i think it my main problem
in nand left information about old update but somewhere in xbox lay new update information and because of that now i sitting near black screen tv ((((
i try to flash all my nands (i mean good nands that work 100%) no one work

xell loader work

and now question what can i do now?
it possible to make donor nand from another xbox with batman game update
and use turtorial about donor nand?
