The size of the NAND (Jasper 256) is 270,336 (windows) --
and in CMD or DOS is 276,883

This size is right?

Thanks

Ok so I suck at soldering and I messed up the 3 pads that connect to the resistors on top. So I used the ones on the bottom and connected the 3 wires to the corresponding points on the bottom. Is that ok to do? When I boot the 360 I don't get 0020, should I be getting an error with the 3 jtag wires in place?\

when I connect it to my computer, it is able to find the flash controller, but every block gives errors. Is this characteristic of a jtag problem, or a wiring problem with the lpt cable? I messed up a pad on the top of the board where all the lpt wires go, can I used the bottom?

Ok i soldered up all the points and have the right flashconfig for my xenon. after it finishes reading, I go to the folder to check the .bin file and there is no .bin file in the nandpro20 folder. am i just being an idiot or isn't this the folder it should have saved to? I've looked everywhere and can't find it.

It could be you mistakenly entered a different file name (even without the .bin extension).  Look around in that directory for a ~16MB file.

So you managed to get Xell to boot to get your CPU key?

If not, then you're having write problems, and possibly read one's as well. Did you open your NAND in Degraded? If so did it have any errors?

Degraded is a program now primarily used by people to check their NAND dumps. You will find it in the usual places - have a look in my sig for a guide to use it. Post your results.

You've got multiple bad blocks in your NAND sad.gif And by the looks of the other piccies you sent me, they're not reallocated to the end of the NAND.

You'll need to rebuild your NAND from scratch - have you ust flashed Xell over, or have you written over the entire NAND on the 360? If you have written over the entire NAND you're going to have to find a donor KV with CPU key to repair.

If you haven't written over the lot, then use Louuky's Xellous tut to repair.
