Friends dont get me wrong. I tried all methods and also searched the forum but cannot find issues like my one samsung ms28 spoofed as liteon and wanted to upgrade.
I bought this xbox from a second hand market. Last night i planned to play prototype and found that i cannot boot it cause its wave3 game so i finally planned to update my drives firmware to ix1.6.
After i oipened my console i found my drive is samsung ms28.
After that i connected it to my computer using via vt6421a card and ran jungleflasher.
opps!!!
In the info on dvd32 tab i found PLDS DG-16D2S
And was shocked.
I looked on other tabs but couldnt find any info.
So i concluded it as ms28 spoofed as liteon dg-16d2s
after that i tried to use activate.iso dvd to get drive in vendor mode but can't again i tried to set it in vendor mode by half tray open method no sucess.
now my problem is
I want to update the firmware to ix1.6 without losing my dvdkey and all required information.
Pls anyone help me upgrade my ms28 spoofed as liteon safely to ix1.6.
