The first one is just the addon of you have the xtractor device,
Second one looks like a serial ttl to usb convter.

Just buy a serial ttl to usb converter and you can do the same thing.

The ebay one should work yes, just pull the bottom cover off dvd drive and stick it in r707 hole and it should work (with drivers of course).

the vgcrepairs one need you to buy the extractor aswell and its just a addon for that so you dont have to solder.

If it says 83850c on the bottomish of the sticker its bad.
Other wise its fine.
