mlb 2k9 wont work weither will hawx
so i guess we need to update to 1.6

I heard RE5 will be like this aswell, but am not to fussed, i'm picking up the special edition.

Yes, you will have to get a firmware update. If it was a good modder they would offer free updates...

Not all new games will carry the the NXE update on the disk correct ?

So 1.5 is not that useless ?

I'm sure most games will have it, so why not do it? It'll suck when you get to a game you reallly want to play, and it has the new security sector in it.


Plus improvements and software will be based off 1.6 as well, so it's just better altogether to get it updated ASAP
