Need Help With Phillips Litheon Drive

i have just opened my elite to find a phillips litheon drive..

apparently these cant be modded due to self destructing firmware chip..

is there a alternative solution by maybe chipping the xbox360

drive swap after extraction of key and spoof data is the only way currently.
