ok i'm running into the probs that everybody else is having here.  I ruined my flashed ms28 drive, and had just swapped cards with an ms28 without xtreme fw.  i've heard different people using a connectivity kit for somethin, but i've also seen alot of people flashing with the VT6421A.  I already ordered the v, but I can send it back if the connectivity kit does the trick.

Would it be worth it to send back and get the kit, or just keep the card, and try to flash this thing.

the connectivity kit just allows you to power the drive from a standard molex connection, and can put hitachis in mode b with a press of a button. you would still need the via even with a connectivity kit
