79 Passkey Install Screw Up
« on: February 03, 2020, 07:02:00 PM »

So built up my confidence that I could preform the Passkey ribbon install. Apparently confidence wasn't enough. After solder/desoldering a couple times on the extra traces. I tried testing the passkey and no blue light. Then I realized i took off several of the traces... Doh...

I took everything off and turned on the 360 and got E64 error (one RRing)...and it won't eject, is that normal?

So any suggestions on what I should do?

I could try again but this time on the TSOP legs...(i have more confidence in the wire install)
But would that fix the error?

I could try taking of the TSOP and use a programmer...but don't know if I want to go that road. Any takers?

can you post a picture of the board ..... use a flatbed scanner
e64 are very hard to fix and you will most likeley need to read the tsop externally
