« on: April 23, 2008, 11:32:00 AM »

hey guys ok so this is a stupid question but where can i find a guide for flashing my xbox 360 dvd drive?

also another question, if i flash the firmware and play burnt games while NOT connected to xbox live and then play the storebought version ON XBOX LIVE would i risk chance of getting banned? kinda wondering if microsoft would detect if i have flashed or tampered with my xbox 360

no one knows exactly how ms detects and bans people. At the moment it appears they cant detect your firmware only bad rips etc. so update to the latest firmware and to be safe go on line only with originals. However i played backup games all the time on live.

You can find guides in the pinned topics of this or this forum, not here.

The chance of your modified firmware being detected is currently low, but the risk is always existent.

Don't openly admit to breaking Xbox Live's TOS.
