Toshiba Samsung M25
« on: March 08, 2008, 09:15:00 AM »

you probably get this a lot but id really appreciate your help or advice, i bought me a via sata card and gots that inside my pc i gave 2 xbox 360's to mod a samsung 25 and samsung 28.
i did the samsung 28 with ease just plugged into port 1 turned on pc did the mtkflash read the orig.bin went to windows patched it and then back to boot and wrote the patched file onto the 360.
the samsung 25 is giving me nothing but stress i tried to do the same even burnt the 0800 disk and stuck that in their but cant read the orig.bin file
is is possible to get the orig.bin file off a samsung 25 , i have read other guides but they all need me to know the serial number of my xbox and i no longer own the broken to bits case.

thanks again,

Usually Ms28 is harder than MS25.

Serial number is not required... any numbers can be used.  It was just taught that may so modders can keep track of which firmware is whose when doing multiple boxes.

0800 disc only works if the firmware was perviously modded.

Are you using the 10 second trick?

BTW: Stuff like this is asked all the time so it should have been posted in Newbie Chat as opposed to the technical forum.
