Can A Usb Flash Drive Be Formatted To Be Recognised By 360

Ive been searching around sometime now and really have not found a definitive answer anywhere. I am wondering if a run of the mill USB flash drive can be formatted to be recognised by 360. I know from my searches that the old xbox could do this but I still have found no definitive answer wheather it can be done for the 360. Any pointers or help would be most appreciated thanks.

as far as i know i use my usb falsh drive to listen to music while playing a game or so on so
i dont see why it wouldnt work for u , i belive it is reconized as a portable device
