Holy crap I am going to smash something... Firstly I realize there may be posts on this, but I have searched everynight for like 3 nights and couldnt find any unique to my situation.

I have a Blaster360NE installed using a MS28 drive.  My computer is has a Nforce 680lt chipset and am using a 6421A chipset to flash the drive, I have unplugged all serial and ide devices. Now...

when I use MTKFlash with " r /m /sata crap.bin" flags, it recognizes the drive fine, but when I do the 10 second trick, when I get my timing right it only makes it to "Reading.....00%".  ... I even tried a different 6421A card.... tried on a Nforce2 mobo without SATA, tried it on a Intel board (Both using the VT6421a card).

The weird thing is that on the intel chipset (I cant remember the model) it would get to "01%"?

What the heck am I doing wrong?  Does anyone think getting a 6421L would make a difference?  I would hate to spend the money when I dont have to.... arg...

Thanks for the help in advance!

I have a Blaster 360 NE as well and to be honest with you, I have never gotten that damn thing to work. It's suppose to be light blue when it is on but mine is always light green. I could never get my computer to recognize the drive. So frustrating, I suggest you open your xbox and do it the regular way. Buy a Via chip set, it's well worth the money. It's cheap bro! It just makes flashing alot easier!
