Is This Ms28 Bricked? Once Reflashed..then One Day 3 Lights Of Death

hey everone. about 4-5 months ago i softmodded an ms28. It worked up untill now..i was playin a pal release of assaisans creed...froze up...then rebooted it ...then 3 lred ights of death!!!!

the version of firmware on there was 5.3

 i tried to reflash..it appeared to work, but the drive was in the 3 red lights when i did the flash. I'm still getting 3 lights of death. Is there anyway i can tell if my drive is bricked

Another thing..how can i tell if the drive is the prob..cause i know i can geta nother MS28 i just don't want to buy one if the prob is the rest of the box.

I doubt your drive is the culprit of the 3 RROD.

Read through this topic; it talks all about the 3 RROD, and you could use the information to narrow down what caused the problem.

okay i have a ms28 and im using a vt 6421a card,
i went through the updating to ixtreme 1.4 @ 12x using 1prep
buh now i can't even play any games on my 360 not even originals
wat can i do
and i also deleted my original bin file

ok lill update.
I'm getting specific error 1023 so its the drive apparently
when i flash the drive using iflash XXXXXXXX XXXXX it works for all banks, but it goes to 3lrod in middle of the bad flash every time, and so when i reboot no change.
if i just try sending the orig.bin or hacked.bin over using mtkflash w/m, it says file not found, even though they are on the iprep flash drive. I have them under backups/xxxxxxxxxx/xxxxx (specfic xbox id)
also i got em under 'backups/'serial'/serial'. I can't think of how to get the box out of error so i can flash the drive, and i don't understand why iflash works but the mtflash w/m command doesn't find the files.
