Update Disc?

Here's the complete message I get,

"Disc Not Detected.

Can't find the update disc. Please reinsert the disc."

This happend after I put a game in to play and it said I needed to update my console, I said ok, and now it comes up with this. I try doing it with the game that i used, but it just says:

"Can't update your console. Please contact xbox Customer Support or go to xbox.com/support"

Any help? I just got this back from a friend after 2 weeks and was just playing another game fine.

BTW. The game I was playing which required an update was Assassin's Creed (My local GAME sold it to me early! haha!) and the game I was playing before was Naruto: Rise of the Ninja. Both were backup's.

Any help as I've only had this console for a day and really want to play some games!
