Unrecognized Disk Error

Is anyone else having this problem? I was in the middle of playing Assassins Creed and all of a sudden this error message popped up. I rebooted and tried all of my back ups and they no longer work. I have Ixtreme 1.2 and have not yet updated to the new firmware. Has anyone heard anything about M$ doing this to consoles? Maybe the update on the server has some kind of sneak update on our consoles.

What about the original versions - are they working?
