i've flashed my ms28 before without any issues.. My 360 died yesterday so i purchased a new one today with an hitachi 47dj. Of course i want to use my samsung instead.. i did the neccesary steps in iprep.. prepared my stick, booted into dos.

when im near the menu im presented with 2 options: ide controller or extreme i pick the later one and of course turning off my 360... ive tried wating for 0,3,5,7,10,15,20,1 minute but it wont dump the flash no matter what.

Been at this shit for 4 hours now.. and still no luck oh im using a PCI VIA VT6421 with 2 ports  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grr.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grr.gif)

anyone got any idea at all what so ever? Im pretty much clueless  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

EDIT: Ive heard you can use 0800 disc but thats only for ms25 since bad flash recovery works on the ms28.. but it doesnt work for me..........wow im confused!??!?!

Also how do you burn 0800 in imgburn? I cant use clonecd due to hardware issues, but if i use imgburn (layerbreak is set to a 360 break) it first tells me the size is too small for a dl, then it  displays a mgs with capitols how L0 < L1 is NOT ALLOWED  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Anyone got any ideas?

Apparently firmware guard is preventing me from dumping the key..and youre suppose to use bad flash recovery on the ms28 and 0800 on ms25....but how im i suppose to use bad flash recovery if its not even working in the first place??
