Hi guys,
I got banned from Xbox Live a few months ago, when the first bans came around.

I have since not had the internet and not had any way of checking whether there is now a way around it or anything other than swapping your console.

I read that there was new firmware out that stops the console being detected, but I'm guessing that this won't work unless it wasn't detected in the first place..?

Any information/advice appreciated.

the new firmwares are the iXtreme's, but u should not play backups on LIVE , updates wise, u still have to be careful, lets say the fall update is out, u have a modded drive, and if u get it, u have the possibility to get banned, or not get banned for a number of reasons.

only way to get back on LIVE is a new console

Wait, so if I play an original disk on a modded drive on Live, its ok right, and I won't get banned? Its just if you play "backups" on Live, that gets you in trouble?

That's basically been the case so far, but there are no guarantees.

Hmm, that is good news. Cause all the games I would play on Live, I plan on buying anyways (i.e. Halo 3, GOW)
