Okay, when I make a bootable USB Pen drive with Xtreme Boot Maker and restarts my computer, it doesn't boot into DOS - it just gives me an error. And no, I'm able to use a floppy drive, not iPrep and I have set the USB drive to the first boot option in bios? What is wrong here?

And just one second question: I'm about to flash from iXtreme 1.2 to Xtreme 5.3b - I have made my firmware with the original one, and used the "Make hacked firmware" in the 5.3 package. Then I put it on the pen drive, and in DOS I plan to write command: mtkflash w /m x53b.bin

Is this the right way to do it? is it also the right command?

Thanks for any help! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

FYI i had a similar problem with iprep, it would not format my usb stick with bootable system files.. i had vista 64bit it was part of the problem, when i used the program on an XP machine it worked fine.. might not help ya, but windows vista seems to screw with things.

My statement was directed more at the topic creator.  When he asked "Is this the right way to do it? is it also the right command?" that makes me think he didn't use a tutorial/guide, or at least not a good one.
