Flashed 360 Back To Ms , Is It Safe?

I have a bad 360, it does not show video, just audio, already talked to MS support and they want me to send it. Is is safe to send it modded? Would they know?

Also, since it's been modded, and opened, is the warranty gone?

any reading of the pinned topics, in the newbie chat (where you should have posted by the way) would have told you the warranty is gone. (they will likely just return it to you as is)
