Kdx 1.2 Error

I removed the SSt39SF0202A flash chip from an Xbox360 Hitachi DVD drive and dumped it using a programmer. Used KDX 1.2 to open the file to extract the key. When I went to open the file I received the error "this file is encrypted or unknown".

Is this an indication of a bad dump of the chip or an expected error for KDX 1.2 ?

The Key:

A7 7F 58 01 D4 FF FA 33 61 03 EE 11 86 9F E8 D6


Does this appear to be the key?

Any help will be appreciated.

Why did you remove the SST chip at all?  Maybe Im missing something, but the only reason I would see that you need to remove it is if you were going to replace it with another one (from another drive).  

Anyway, you could have just left everything as is, and first got your key.  What drive version of Hitachi are you using anyway?
