360 Not Touched Since 8th May
« on: September 05, 2007, 06:35:00 PM »

Hi,

As stated in the topic title i have a 360 that i haven't touched since the 8th of may. It has 5.2 FW on it and i have no intention of going online.

I was wondering will everything still be fine with backups if i don't update the dash? It may be a stupid question but i have been out the loop for a while and appreciate any help. It's a pal and i'm getting it shipped out to Canada so i can buy and play the new PES2008 when it comes out, but i still have a few backups in the UK i might get sent out with it.

you will be ok if your backups are stealthed, but you should upgrade your firmware to ixtreme so you know for sure. you will be required to install the spring update when you put PES2008 in your system, as it will require the update to play (and the update will be on the disc, so you won't need to connect to live to install the update). assuming your backups are ones that you made your self, you have nothing to worry about as they will work just fine with the safe, ixtreme firmware.
