All,

I've had it with the ring of lights.. tried all of the fixes:

removed x-clamp + arctic silver: lasted about 3 weeks
Re-did this fix: lasted 2 more days
Towel Trick: lasted about 5hours

Anyway, I'm looking for a replacement GPU heatsink 80mm x 70mm x 14mm ..so, something low profile and google isn't being very helpful. I found one but it's basically for bulk orders and I can't find a supplier anyway:

..that should fit in our 360's. Anyway, does anyone have a non water cooled low profile heatsink they're using on their 360 GPU? Thanks!

you'd be very lucky if the towel trick didn't kill your system. assuming none of the components got damaged by that, i would say send your 360 out to have the CPU/GPU reballed.
